Establishment of Rukasen College in 1992 ushered a new horizon in the sphere of Higher Education concretising the dream of the people in the middle part of Karbi Anglong. Since the days of inception, the Department of English as one of the foremost academic disciplines has been devoted to the honest endeavour to foster the acquisition of knowledge in English as second language. The district of Karbi Anglong is confluence of ethnic diversity enriched with their own language and cultural discourses. English as language of transcreation and affiliation always attracts immense attention.
